Texas Department of Transportation creates a voice-activated litter reporting app with EX² Solutions

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) sought to improve its "Don’t mess with Texas" anti-littering campaign by updating its reporting tools. Their challenge was to redesign the Litterer app and website to create a more appealing user interface and add new functionality, making it easier and safer for Texans to report highway littering. EX² Solutions reimagined the application by creating a voice-activated interface, allowing users to report litterbugs without touching their screens. They also rearchitected the app to integrate it with multiple car and license plate databases to ensure report accuracy and to scale for users across the state. The vendor delivered a modernized visual experience and significantly improved the overall UX for both the app and website.
