Warwick University Transforms Its Risk Assessments With Evotix

The University of Warwick, a world-leading university with around 36,000 staff and students, faced an urgent COVID-19 challenge in 2020: every site and room needed rapid risk assessments and new procedures, but they were managing assessments in spreadsheets that caused duplication, data loss and a heavy time burden. To meet these needs they turned to Evotix and its Assure platform, building on earlier use of Evotix’s incident and audit modules.

Evotix configured Assure to Warwick’s requirements, with project managers supporting a fast rollout and training for the university’s 17-strong health and safety team and wider stakeholders. As a result Evotix’s Assure enabled the university to run thousands of COVID-19 risk assessments, deliver comprehensive reports and an audit trail, track actions from start to finish, strengthen risk-assessment protocols and improve stakeholder engagement and oversight.
