The customer, Brandt, a company with over 65 years of industry expertise, faced significant challenges during its transition from AutoCAD to Revit for electrical design. This shift created collaboration hurdles and inefficient processes, particularly with manual bill of materials (BOMs) creation in Excel and a lack of intelligent, pre-built content for complex electrical components. Seeking to unify their teams on a single software platform, they turned to vendor EVOLVE for its EVOLVE Electrical solution.

EVOLVE implemented its EVOLVE Electrical plug-in for Revit, which provided an intuitive, pre-built database of electrical content and automated processes that Brandt could use immediately. The solution resulted in a significantly higher quality product, better field installations, and shorter project timelines. EVOLVE enabled Brandt to quickly produce smart BOMs, reduce rework, and integrate data with other systems via an open API.
