A Evolve IP Case Study
The International Literacy Association (ILA) is a global advocacy and membership organization of more than 300,000 literacy educators and researchers across 75 countries, supported by 65 employees who often work remotely. ILA was hampered by an aging on‑premise Siemens phone system that caused frequent hardware failures, costly service visits, wasted IT hours, and administrative headaches as remote staff used personal phones and required complex reimbursement audits.
Working with Association Resource Group, ILA moved to Evolve IP’s cloud‑based unified communications (UC) suite, including UC‑One with Office 365/Skype for Business integration, giving staff a single controllable app and a single phone number with local Delaware presence. The switch eliminated extensive hardware, cut mobile costs (about $75,000/year), reduced administrative overhead and outages, improved privacy and brand consistency, and delivered measurable savings and reliability so ILA could refocus on its literacy mission.
