Charitable Adult Rides and Services (CARS) is a San Diego–based nonprofit that facilitates vehicle donations for more than 3,500 charities and provides ride services to older adults. Rapid growth exposed limitations in its legacy on-site PBX and custom call center software, which were not fully integrated, couldn’t be updated together, and constrained productivity across an 85‑agent contact center.

CARS migrated to Evolve IP’s hosted contact center and integrated IP phone system, using API integrations to tie Evolve IP to their custom CRM and present agents with a single, unified screen. The change delivered faster CRM performance and caller identification, scheduled KPI reporting, improved agent productivity, greater business insight, reliable stability, and the flexibility to hire remote agents.
