eyworks, a provider of nursery school ERP platforms, faced the challenge of streamlining manual, admin-heavy workflows for teachers in the UK. Their nursery teachers needed a faster way to record child observations, capture photos and videos, and work reliably even with limited internet connectivity, all while supporting 15 different early learning frameworks. Evolve Blue was engaged to develop a mobile and backend platform to address these needs.

Evolve Blue built native Android and iOS tablet apps for teachers and a YII PHP backend hosted on AWS. The solution included offline data capture with background synchronization and retry support, allowing teachers to work uninterrupted. This new platform resulted in a reported 40% reduction in administrative overhead and 100% reliability for offline capture. Evolve Blue also provided long-term staff augmentation and support for over seven years as the platform evolved.
