A Evolv Case Study
The Grand Ole Opry House, part of Opry Entertainment Group in Nashville, faced slow, intrusive ingress screening that relied on numerous metal detectors, created long lines, high false‑positive rates, large equipment footprints, and significant staff training burdens — all of which harmed guest experience and venue operations. To address this, the venue partnered with Evolv and evaluated Evolv Express along with Evolv Insights and Evolv Cortex AI to modernize screening while preserving detection capabilities.
Evolv deployed five Express systems (three dual‑lane and two single‑lane), configured placement and operating procedures, and trained staff; Evolv Insights provided ongoing analytics and Evolv Cortex AI improved threat identification. The result: dramatically faster, more seamless entry; consolidation of 22 metal detectors down to five (about a 77% reduction), reallocation of 21 security staff (a 60% reduction), fewer false positives, improved concealed‑weapon detection, and measurable boosts in guest satisfaction and operational flexibility.
