The Houston Astros, a Major League Baseball team, sought to enhance the fan experience at their ballpark by streamlining security screening for over 3 million annual visitors. Their challenge was to move fans through entry points more quickly while maintaining a welcoming environment. To address this, they partnered with security vendor Evolv.

Evolv implemented its Evolv Express® systems, which allowed the Astros to reduce their screening footprint from 65 traditional metal detectors to just 11 units. This solution significantly sped up entry and improved the fan experience. Following this initial success, the Astros expanded their partnership with Evolv by upgrading to Evolv Express® Gen2 and adding Evolv eXpedite™ for bag screening at more complex entry points.
