Evolv Helps Improve Security at Bridgestone Arena and Ensures Fans Never Miss a Puck Drop

Bridgestone Arena, home of the NHL’s Nashville Predators, was struggling with long security lines and frequent secondary screenings from legacy metal detectors that caused fans to miss puck drops and pre-game activities. To modernize screening while preserving safety and durability, Bridgestone Arena partnered with Evolv and deployed the Evolv Express system along with Evolv Cortex AI and Evolv Insights.

Evolv implemented eight dual‑lane Evolv Express systems, integrated with Genetec cameras, trained staff, and provided ongoing support, delivering an accelerated rollout in time for the season. The Evolv solution cut average ingress from about 10 minutes to 1 minute, reduced nuisance alarms/secondary screenings by 40%, shrank the security footprint (from 20 metal detectors to eight Express lanes), screened thousands in the 15‑minute pregame rush, and proved durable after facility flooding.
