Cleveland Browns Stadium Doubles Down on “Fan Obsession” By Achieving One of the Fastest Ingress Experiences in the NFL

Cleveland Browns Stadium faced slow, disruptive ingress driven by 100 walkthrough metal detectors, high false-alarm rates, and security-guard fatigue that undermined a “fan-obsessed” game-day experience and conflicted with its opt-in Wicket facial authentication ticketing. To solve this, the stadium selected Evolv and its Evolv Express screening technology to speed entry while integrating with existing ticketing workflows.

Evolv deployed 12 Dual‑Lane Evolv Express systems (backed by Evolv Cortex AI and Evolv Insights), provided phased training and operational support, and integrated with Wicket facial authentication. The results: the screening footprint shrank from 100 detectors to 12, staffing dropped 53% (from 150 to 70), false alarms fell to 4% (96% pass-through), total ingress time decreased 76% (≈25 to ≈6 minutes, under 60 seconds with facial recognition), and the venue processed 18,000 guests in 45 minutes — all enabled by Evolv.
