Citizens Bank Park Teams Up with Evolv to Improve Experience for Phillies Fans and Security Staf

The Philadelphia Phillies’ Citizens Bank Park faced long ingress lines, high nuisance alarm rates from walkthrough metal detectors, intrusive secondary searches, and staff fatigue that caused fans to miss first pitches and strained security operations. To address these challenges the team partnered with Evolv, evaluating and piloting Evolv Express systems along with Evolv Cortex AI and Evolv Insights to find a faster, less intrusive screening solution.

Evolv deployed five dual‑lane and four single‑lane Evolv Express systems, updated ConOps, provided training and onsite support, and enabled real‑time analytics via Evolv Insights. As a result Evolv helped cut the screening footprint by nearly 75% (from roughly 50 metal detectors to 9 systems), reduce nuisance alarms, shrink secondary check time to under 40 seconds, eliminate pregame lines on opening day, and reallocate about 75% of ingress staff to other security duties—greatly improving both fan experience and operational efficiency.
