Trans World Entertainment (TWEC), the operator of FYE.com and other entertainment retail sites, needed to lift ecommerce conversions as part of a broader digital transformation. After a 30-day trial with a traditional A/B testing provider produced no measurable lift, TWEC engaged Evolv AI and its Ascend platform to build an AI-driven experimentation program grounded in best practices and large-scale multivariate testing.
Using Evolv AI’s Ascend, TWEC ran a 6-week product-page experiment with over 400,000 monthly unique visitors and 77,760 candidate combinations; Ascend identified two winning variants that increased conversion rates by 18% and 14.6% (95% confidence). A follow-up full-funnel test across cart and checkout evaluated more than 1 million combinations and delivered a variant that boosted purchases by 3%, demonstrating Evolv AI’s ability to uncover high-impact improvements quickly.
