Spar Nord Bank, a major Nordic bank, engaged agency 44Pixel to improve conversion rates on its Laanebanken loan application funnel. The challenge was converting pre-qualified, affiliate-referred visitors into completed applications quickly—made harder by Denmark’s relatively small online audiences that make traditional one-at-a-time A/B testing slow—so they turned to Evolv AI’s Ascend to accelerate and broaden experimentation.
44Pixel combined cognitive research, session recordings and heatmaps to generate hypotheses and used Evolv AI’s Ascend, an evolutionary AI testing platform, to run simultaneous multivariate experiments. Over six weeks Ascend evaluated 6 elements and 19 variables across 768 possible designs and evolved a variant that increased conversions by 5.8% versus the control, dramatically speeding testing velocity and identifying the highest‑converting funnel.
