GS Shop, a leading global commerce arm of Korea’s GS Group serving millions via mobile, online, TV and catalogs, needed faster, scalable experimentation to outcompete other online retailers. With hundreds of UX and product-layout ideas to test and traditional A/B methods proving too slow, GS Shop partnered with Evolv AI and its AI-driven optimization/experimentation platform to accelerate and expand testing.

Evolv AI ran a single multivariate experiment on GS Shop’s product detail pages—targeting 8 page elements with 28 variants (nearly 5 million possible designs) and exposing the test to 10% of mobile users. Over five weeks Evolv AI evolved 215 combinations across nine generations and found a winning design that combined 9 improvements, delivering a 6.4% increase in conversions; GS Shop is now rolling out Evolv AI across product and UX teams.
