VACCHO, the peak body supporting Aboriginal health and wellbeing across Victoria, was struggling to manage 84 separate programs and contracts with its existing MYOB accounting system. The system lacked the reporting depth and workflow controls needed for complex government funding requirements, forcing the organisation into paper-heavy manual processes and making it difficult to demonstrate governance and accountability.

To address this, VACCHO deployed Microsoft Dynamics NAV, implemented and supported by Evolution Business Systems (EBS), alongside tighter integration with Office 365 and planned Power BI reporting. The new system dramatically improved efficiency and governance: payroll time dropped from three days a week to just three hours, workflows now enforce approval policies, audits have become straightforward, and VACCHO has gained stronger reporting and greater insight into funded outcomes.
