EBS and NAV deliver early Christmas present to Circadian

Circadian, an ASX-listed biotechnology company developing biologics-based cancer therapies, needed to streamline its growing finance and reporting processes. After outgrowing MYOB and managing five separate databases with heavy manual rekeying and spreadsheet use, it faced increasing risk of errors and difficulty consolidating results for half-year and annual reporting. Evolution Business Systems (EBS) provided Microsoft Dynamics NAV to address these challenges.

Evolution Business Systems implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV, going live in November after an August 2010 rollout, giving Circadian a single system for ledgers, project expenditure, foreign exchange tracking, and consolidated reporting. The result was a major reduction in reporting effort, saving about half an FTE and cutting around two days from half-yearly and yearly financial report preparation, while also enabling the team to meet strict ASX deadlines and take time off over Christmas for the first time.
