Evocon Drives Jeld-Wen France’s Continuous Improvement Efforts

Jeld-Wen France used Evocon to support its continuous improvement efforts across 26 production lines at its plants in France. The company needed a more automated and reliable way to capture production data and track OEE, because manual stop reporting by operators was incomplete and subjective, especially for short downtime events.

Evocon provided hardware and software to collect real-time production data and visualize line performance, replacing much of the manual reporting. The solution is now used in twice-daily shop-floor meetings to focus on bottlenecks and maintenance issues, and its reporting and improvements features help the team compare downtime occurrences, estimate costs, and make more informed decisions. Evocon is also being integrated with Jeld-Wen France’s internal systems to make production information more precise and useful.
