The American University of Beirut, a university with over 9,000 students, faced a challenge in effectively advising students, particularly those with special needs. Their existing tools lacked an intuitive interface and a complete view of student information, preventing advisors from easily tracking academic goals and maintaining confidential counseling notes. To address this, they partnered with vendor Evisions and its implementation partner Naseej to utilize the Argos reporting tool.

The solution implemented by Evisions via Naseej was an Argos-based Advisor Profile Dashboard. This provided a centralized, intuitive platform for advisors to view student data, set and track goals, filter student groups, and securely record all counseling communications. The results included reduced information silos, empowered advisors who could do their jobs better, and a significant improvement in the student advising service, which was previously the lowest-rated service in student surveys.
