Barcode Graphics engaged Evince Development to build a DK Barcode Testing online portal to improve shipment receiving and carton identification. Barcode Graphics needed a web-based solution for supplier registration, 2D barcode certification and auditing to ensure labels met GS1 and BCG standards and to pursue a goal of 100% compliance; key challenges included complex testing-credit and workflow transitions and the need to decode 2D barcode strings per BCG guidelines.

Evince Development delivered an ASP.NET-based testing portal (ASP .Net 4.5, Entity Framework, MSSQL) with role-based authentication, JavaScript 2D barcode decoding, Authorize.NET credit-card payments, RDLC reporting and a virtual-credit model to automate submissions and audits. The solution automated compliance checks and reporting, strengthened carton identification and shipping quality, reduced manual effort and errors (such as duplicate billing/overcharges), and helped Barcode Graphics progress toward its 2D barcode compliance objectives.
