eVestment provided a platform that enabled the pension plan to quickly screen managers based on key quantitative and qualitative criteria. The solution proved highly effective; by using eVestment, the client was able to rapidly set up new mandates and efficiently shortlist managers for a recent Chinese equity search, ultimately inviting only three to pitch. The tool also proved invaluable for conducting peer group comparisons for their existing managers.
