The University at Buffalo, a public research institution in the SUNY system, needed a more efficient way to use data from its advancement database and external sources to improve alumni management, prospect identification, and fundraising. EverTrue helped University at Buffalo combine internal data with Facebook, LinkedIn, and other external signals to target alumni, identify high-capacity prospects, and improve frontline efficiency. Results included 140,000+ tracked Facebook engagements, 28 new prospects identified per month, and a million-dollar bequest from a previously unknown prospect discovered through EverTrue, with improved event attendance and more strategic outreach across the advancement office.
