Cheshire Academy Raises Over $115.6k on Giving Tuesday with EverTrue

Cheshire Academy, a private college preparatory school in Connecticut, needed a stronger way to drive Giving Tuesday donations and meet its Katz vs. Cats challenge: raise $100,000 from 125 donors to unlock two $25,000 matching gifts. Using Evertrue and its Raiser’s Edge data, the advancement team set out to improve online giving and outreach to alumni and parents.

Evertrue created a targeted, mobile-friendly Katz vs. Cats giving page that Cheshire Academy customized with campaign images, messaging, and ask amounts. The school marketed the page across email, social, phone, and text, and raised $115,644 from 130 donors, unlocking both matching gifts; that was 30% more dollars and 14% more donors than the prior year, with 66% of donations coming through the Evertrue page.
