National Health Service Shared Business Services Ltd (NHS SBS), a joint venture supporting the UK National Health Service, needed to improve eInvoicing and reduce manual processing across its procurement and accounts payable operations. Working with Everteam and its everteam.ibpms product, NHS SBS aimed to streamline invoice handling, increase verification efficiency, and improve tracking and governance across a high-volume financial environment.

Everteam implemented a fully integrated eInvoicing solution that supported scanned paper invoices, reduced human error, and automated more of the process while involving stakeholders in process design. The deployment went live in four months and quickly delivered better performance, faster and more accurate invoice management, and clearer, more trackable workflows. The system now supports 15 processes handling around 10 million invoices per year, worth tens of millions of pounds, helping NHS SBS improve efficiency and savings.
