Bouygues Construction, a global construction and services group with 53,000 employees in 80 countries, needed to replace an obsolete in-house paper archiving tool and create a way to preserve rapidly growing electronic documents over time. To meet regulatory and records-management requirements, it turned to Everteam and its everteam.archive / EverSuite Compliance solution for a unified archiving approach.

Everteam implemented a combined paper-and-electronic archiving platform with document classification, retention rules, automatic destruction policies, and integration into Bouygues Construction’s existing information systems. The solution was first rolled out in a subsidiary and then expanded across the group, helping users search and manage archives in real time while supporting ISO 14641-1 compliance and eventual deployment across all subsidiaries in France and the 80 countries where Bouygues Construction operates.
