Google operates a vast global data center network and manages hundreds of thousands of high-value, time-critical shipments each year. To keep major data center projects on schedule and protect sensitive equipment and intellectual property, Google needed better visibility into shipment status and earlier warning of supply chain risks. Google partnered with Everstream Analytics and its supply chain risk analytics platform to improve control over in-transit logistics.

Everstream Analytics implemented a single visibility platform that combined Google’s internal network data with external risk feeds, weather and incident monitoring, and IoT/GPS tracking for critical shipments. This gave Google real-time alerts, predictive exception management, and faster action on disruptions. As a result, Google improved operational efficiency, handled three major incidents at a key hub over two months without wider disruption, and maintained world-class on-time delivery performance despite severe weather and seasonal constraints.
