MemberPass, powered by Bonifii, wanted to replace outdated banking authentication methods that relied on easy-to-guess security questions. To create a more secure, privacy-preserving, and member-friendly experience, they partnered with Evernym and used Verity and the Mobile SDK to support remote authentication, fraud reduction, and customer onboarding.

Evernym helped MemberPass issue secure digital credentials that members could store on their own devices and use to verify their identity across contact centers, branches, and drive-up services. The solution significantly improved the member experience and cut authentication time by about 80%, saving hundreds of hours each month for a medium-sized credit union, while also helping expand issuance to thousands of members across the United States.
