SowetanLIVE, a publication under Arena Holdings, needed to effectively notify 2018 matric pupils that their exam results were published. The objective was to direct this highly-anticipated traffic to their own dedicated website and prevent subscribers from seeking the results on competitor sites. To accomplish this, they partnered with the email service provider Everlytic.

Using Everlytic's platform for database management and email creation, a personalized notification was sent to subscribers. The campaign was a massive success, achieving a 78.2% open rate and an exceptional 75% click-to-open rate, driving significant traffic and contributing to the website's two highest traffic days with over 224,000 unique users.
