The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE), a private higher education institution, needed to improve communication with prospective students to convert them from leads to registered students. Their challenge was to automate email and SMS marketing campaigns that were triggered by specific stages in their customer relationship management (CRM) system. To address this, they partnered with vendor Everlytic to implement its Drip Campaign feature.
Everlytic's solution involved setting up automated Drip Campaigns that sent targeted emails and SMSes based on a student's progress, seamlessly integrated with the institute's MS CRM. This resulted in a more efficient marketing process and was a key factor in achieving a 20% growth in student numbers for 2016. The IIE has since sent over 306,000 emails and 2.5 million SMSes through the platform, greatly improving the effectiveness and timeliness of their student communication.
