GoldenSam.com is a free fantasy-tennis platform created by developer Jason Mauss to give tennis fans worldwide a place to follow players, scores and advanced stats and to play season-long fantasy games. Because tennis data is fragmented and hard to gather, GoldenSlam required a robust, flexible hosting and database solution to support complex stats, a growing user base and future feature plans.
Jason moved the site from shared hosting to Everleap’s cloud platform using a Single Site plan with Managed SQL, allowing an easy transfer, scalable resources and visibility into CPU, memory and request metrics. Everleap’s control panel and responsive support helped resolve database setup issues and catch deployment bugs, leaving GoldenSlam able to scale reliably, iterate faster and pursue new features like podcasts, tournament games and live match chats.
