A Everlaw Case Study
Civil Rights Corps (CRC) is a nonprofit litigation organization challenging systemic injustices in the U.S. legal system. Faced with a complex Tennessee misdemeanor probation case and more than 300,000 documents to review, CRC’s small team had no in-house ediscovery tools and needed a platform to collaborate, search, and manage massive file volumes—after evaluating four systems they selected Everlaw.
Everlaw’s platform, including its investigative functions and Storybuilder, let CRC quickly search thousands of files, track critical documents across three defendants, collaborate virtually, and prepare depositions and briefs. Using Everlaw, CRC attached 95 exhibits to a motion for summary judgment, expanded usage to over 200 GB across eight cases in seven states, and cut the data they had to review by 50%, saving months of review time and tens of thousands of dollars.
