Colar Solar, a solar provider servicing regional Victoria, partnered with vendor Evergen to enhance its customer offerings and strengthen conversations around return on investment for solar battery systems. Their goal was to provide additional value by adopting innovative technology that would allow their customers to optimize their energy usage and participate in new programs.

Evergen implemented its Intelligent Control battery optimization software, enabling Colar Solar's customers to connect to paid Virtual Power Plants and achieve greater grid independence. As a result of the partnership and a targeted campaign, Colar Solar saw a 75% uptake from existing battery customers connecting to Evergen's Intelligent Control. They also experienced a significant increase in customer enquiries about batteries and Virtual Power Plants, with the software saving customers an average of 26.4% on their power bills.
