Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity needed a better way to address alcohol abuse, hazing, and sexual assault across a diverse national network of chapters while staying true to its values and harm reduction philosophy. To meet that challenge, the organization turned to EVERFI and its GreekLifeEdu online course to educate members efficiently at scale and tailor prevention efforts to the needs of individual campuses.

EVERFI implemented a customizable, values-driven online curriculum that reinforced positive fraternity and sorority behavior while educating members on high-risk alcohol use, hazing, and sexual violence. The program delivered a reported 43% knowledge gain, and the data helped Zeta Tau Alpha shape its strategy, create the “My Sister, My Responsibility” initiative, and supplement online learning with targeted in-person education where needed.
