A EVERFI Case Study
Frisco Independent School District, a growing district serving more than 60,000 students in North Texas, was looking for a more coordinated way to address student mental health, bullying, character development, and broader social-emotional learning (SEL) needs. Working with EVERFI and its Impact Framework, the district aligned programming, policy, data, and institutional support to create a more system-wide approach to student well-being.
EVERFI helped Frisco ISD expand SEL through in-house lessons, student/staff programming, peer-to-peer policy training, and data-informed planning tied to tools like EVERFI course data and student feedback. The results were strong: Frisco students showed pre- to post-course gains at least double the national average in several mental health and character-building measures, and they also reported notably higher prosocial attitudes around bullying prevention, including a stronger sense of responsibility to prevent bullying and willingness to seek help from trusted adults.
