How Centre College Involves Faculty, Staff and Students in Sexual Assault Prevention

Centre College, a small liberal arts college in Danville, Kentucky, wanted to strengthen its campus-wide approach to sexual assault prevention beyond students alone. To support this effort, the college partnered with EVERFI and evaluated online education and data-driven tools that could align with its updated Sexual Misconduct Policy and help improve prevention across faculty, staff, and students.

EVERFI implemented Haven - Understanding Sexual Assault for students, Haven for Faculty and Staff, and climate surveying tools to provide training and actionable campus data. The results included a 43% positive change in employee respondents who agreed sexual assault is a significant issue at Centre College and a 30% positive change in those who reported understanding campus response procedures; nearly half of participants also requested further information or training.
