Glendale Unified School District Prioritizes Financial Education

Glendale Unified School District, a 32-school district serving more than 26,000 students, wanted to ensure students were prepared for life beyond the classroom by strengthening financial education across multiple grade levels. To support this goal, the district partnered with EVERFI and used its digital financial literacy resources, including Vault: Understanding Money, FutureSmart, and EVERFI: Financial Literacy.

With EVERFI, GUSD implemented standards-aligned, ready-made lessons for 5th, 7th, and 9th graders focused on budgeting, savings, credit, and financing higher education. In the first year alone, more than 90% of nearly 6,000 students earned skills and certification, showing strong participation and measurable impact from EVERFI’s financial education tools.
