Financial Wellness Education as a Competitive Advantage to Drive New Business

Provident Bank, a community-focused financial institution, sought to enhance its community outreach and provide financial education. They partnered with the vendor EVERFI to implement the "Becoming Financially Fit" (BFF) program to educate both students and adults, thereby strengthening their brand as a committed community leader.

EVERFI provided a comprehensive and user-friendly digital financial literacy program, supplemented by in-person school events for students. The EVERFI solution included aggregate reporting to track engagement. The results were significant: the program reached 7,402 students who completed over 19,000 modules. The adult version saw a 91% sign-up rate from unique website visitors, and the initiative generated positive media coverage, successfully enhancing Provident Bank's community presence.
