Everbridge Assist™ (powered by Anvil) supported clients caught up in the Russia–Ukraine conflict by monitoring escalating tensions and executing pre-emptive evacuation planning. In the days before hostilities on 24 February, the team coordinated commercial flights and private charters — including organizing evacuation transport for 500+ employees of a major client — but faced a sudden challenge when Ukrainian airspace was closed and large-scale ground evacuations became the only option amid an evolving multi-front conflict.

Using all-source intelligence, local security professionals, and Operations coordination, Everbridge shifted to ground extractions with 50‑seat buses, advance route scouting, safehouses, and real‑time updates to navigate checkpoints and congestion. The team issued shelter‑in‑place guidance and go‑bag lists, coordinated border crossings (shifting from Poland to Slovakia as needed), and arranged hotel and onward travel; the effort evacuated 120+ client employees and 25 additional refugees and continues to provide evacuation planning, resupply, and protection services.
