Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source software with more than 11,000 employees globally, faced the challenge of protecting a highly dispersed and mobile workforce (about 35% remote) and accounting for travelers across regions with varying geopolitical risk. The security team needed tools to quickly locate and reach employees and to provide timely, actionable intelligence to support duty-of-care decisions.

Red Hat integrated Everbridge into its ISAAC global security operations to consolidate risk intelligence and enable both outbound alerts and inbound check‑ins. The platform delivered anticipatory alerts (sometimes 20 minutes before open media), drove check-ins from zero to 333 in a quarter, and—as during the Paris attacks—cut the time to account for employees from days to hours.
