People Inc. is Western New York’s leading non-profit human services agency, serving over 13,000 people across 200 sites, including 140 24-hour residential homes, senior living complexes and home health programs. Serving a vulnerable population across seven counties with 4,000+ employees, the organization needed a robust, efficient preparedness plan to assess and mitigate incidents across a large geographic area.

They implemented Everbridge for NC4 monitoring and rapid mass notification, enabling fast communication with sites, staff and incident teams and real‑time intelligence during large events. In one case Everbridge mobilized nearby staff, shared a missing person’s details and maintained conference communications, resulting in the safe recovery of the individual and demonstrating faster, more coordinated emergency response than relying on police alone.
