Molina Health Care - Customer Case Study

Molina Healthcare, a Long Beach–based Medicaid and Medicare provider serving more than 1.8 million members across 17 states, needed a reliable way to notify employees during emergencies and operational incidents. With inconsistent overhead systems across facilities and a wide range of outside-the-building events (hurricanes, snow, ice) as well as critical IT outages, Molina required a centralized, multi-channel communication method to keep staff informed and safe.

Molina deployed the Everbridge Unified Critical Communications Platform to deliver targeted, multi-path alerts to the right people at the right time. The system was used in 63 incidents in a single quarter to communicate closures, delays, and reopenings, improving staff safety and operational continuity; Molina is also expanding Everbridge for IT alerting to reduce downtime and speed incident response.
