PSCU is the nation’s leading credit union service organization, supporting more than 800 member credit unions and 18 million accounts with payments and call center services across multiple U.S. locations. Communicating quickly and reliably during business-continuity and life-safety events was a priority: PSCU already used hotlines, phone trees and emergency email but needed a platform that could send multi-channel alerts simultaneously and provide robust reporting and scalability for its 1,800+ employees.

Everbridge delivered a scalable, easy-to-use critical communications platform integrated via API with PSCU’s HR feed, populated with branded, prebuilt message templates and multi-channel delivery. The system was used successfully for a large Phoenix fire drill and to manage communications for Tropical Storm Erica, producing faster, clearer notifications, reducing employee inquiries, earning strong user feedback, and leading PSCU to add Threat View and SMART Weather to further cut alert delivery to under a minute.
