Improving Ease Of Use With Everbridge

The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML), the UK trade body representing mortgage lenders with around 30 staff in Aldwych, London, relied on phone calls to contact staff during incidents. After the Kingsway underground fire caused a power outage and required rapid remote-working instructions, CML found phone-based outreach slow and difficult to monitor and sought a more reliable, manageable emergency communications solution.

CML adopted the Everbridge platform as a cost-effective, reliable solution. Implementation was smooth and intuitive after brief training; staff quickly learned to send alerts, confirm responses, and see who had or hadn’t replied. The platform improved disaster recovery communications and met the organisation’s usability and budget needs.
