The San Angelo Police Department, serving a diverse community of nearly 100,000 in West Texas, needed a more reliable way to reach residents during natural disasters, emergencies and criminal investigations—particularly when social media proved inconsistent for critical notifications and community engagement.

The system helped locate two missing girls within about 15 minutes of an alert and produced a timely tip that led to a robbery suspect’s arrest, greatly improving resident trust, tip volume and emergency communications.
