A Everbridge Case Study
The City of Williamsburg, a historic Virginia community of about 15,000 residents, needed a simple, interactive mass-notification system that let administrators rapidly send messages to multiple audiences and — importantly — know whether recipients actually received them. Until adopting a new solution, the city could broadcast alerts but had no reliable confirmation or reporting to measure effectiveness.
Everbridge delivered an easy-to-use, integrated platform that streamlined emergency and day-to-day communications, providing confirmation of receipt, intuitive reporting, and customizable alert templates. The system allowed staff testing and quick message adjustments, supported targeted outreach to residents, businesses and visitors (including tailored approaches for older residents), and gave the city measurable, accountable notification capabilities.
