Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), a top‑ranked international research university with about 15,000 students, needed better ways to build campus culture, collect student feedback and deliver action‑oriented messages. HKUST adopted Everbridge (formerly SnapComms) Desktop Alerts, Wallpaper and Survey tools across its 400 lab PCs, delivering pop‑up alerts for timed actions, attention‑grabbing login wallpapers to reinforce values and automated in‑app surveys. The solution boosted survey response rates by 20%, removed repetitive manual tasks, improved message cut‑through, and led the university to renew and expand the licensing campus‑wide.
