A Everbridge Case Study
Bank of Hawaii, a regional bank with about 2,500 employees across more than 140 offices in Hawaii, American Samoa and the Pacific Islands, needed a more automated way to execute its critical communication plans during fast-moving events. The challenge was keeping executive management and business units consistently informed and confident in the bank’s pandemic and disaster-response actions amid incidents like the H1N1 outbreak and multiple hurricane threats.
Bank of Hawaii adopted Everbridge to deliver daily, consolidated updates (including curated reports from sources like CDC and DHS and attached imagery) and to automate mass notifications for floods, hurricanes and other time-sensitive events. The system improved communication flow, saved time, ensured message accuracy and consistency, and gave leaders clear visibility into who received and confirmed alerts, enabling quicker, more informed decisions.
