Farnborough International Limited organises the biennial Farnborough International Airshow, a large-scale event with thousands of exhibitors, high-profile attendees and complex on-site operations. FIL needed a communications platform to replace fragmented whiteboard and paper processes, support a multi-agency incident control room, enable emergency notification, improve logging and analytics, and be usable year-round across events.

Everbridge was deployed across the control room to provide incident logging, GPS mapping and mass notification to unify 13 agencies (emergency services, security, traffic, parking and crowd control). The platform enabled rapid, coordinated responses—most notably a managed evacuation of 57,000 people in under two hours during severe flooding—cut incident resolution time by over an hour, produced concise reports for authorities, improved operational efficiencies and prompted plans to expand year-round use and global rollout.
