Ensuring safety and security at the Army-Navy game

Everbridge supported a coalition of 17+ agencies — including the DoD, FBI, Homeland Security, and Massachusetts State Police — to secure the Army‑Navy game, a large-scale event with 76,778 people present (65,878 attendees, 900 credentialed staff and 10,000+ shoppers). The challenge was to provide real-time threat monitoring, coordinate across many stakeholders, and reliably communicate with attendees during any emergency.

Everbridge conducted tailored threat analyses, integrated its critical event management platform with existing security systems, ran training and tabletop exercises, and monitored FAA/UAS data, social media, weather, and law enforcement channels. The platform sent pre-game safety reminders and instant emergency notifications, enabled rapid local responses that neutralized two potential incidents, increased attendee confidence, and produced post-event insights and recommendations for future events.
