Dubai Civil Defense selects Everbridge for incident response

Dubai Civil Defense, led by Colonel Feras Mohammad Abdulla Belhasa Alshamsi, selected the Everbridge SAGA Incident Response System (deployed with partner Esharah) to tackle the complex, fast‑moving emergencies Dubai faces as a major tourist and metropolitan hub. Seeking to replace a traditional CAD setup, they needed to digitise the incident management lifecycle, speed up incident registration and response, and establish a Common Operating Picture for better situational awareness and coordination.

The SAGA system was integrated into operations to register emergency calls, provide automatic caller location, dispatch the nearest fire station, document SOPs and deliver real‑time dashboards. The rollout produced measurable gains: significant reductions in response times, performance metrics and a balanced scorecard for control room operators and stations, improved collaboration with partner organisations, and plans for further integrations and broader deployment.
