Coordinating a critical evacuation during conflict in the Middle East

During Operation Rising Lion, a British expatriate family stranded in Tel Aviv faced an urgent evacuation challenge as airspace closures, ongoing attacks, and overcrowded border crossings made escape extremely difficult. Everbridge and its Security Operations Team were brought in to find a safe, fast route out of the conflict zone.

Everbridge implemented a coordinated ground evacuation plan using real-time risk analysis, local partnerships, and secure transport support. The team chose the safest route via the Jordan River border crossing, escorted the family with a secure vehicle and protection personnel, then handed them off to Everbridge’s Jordan team for transfer to Queen Alia International Airport. Everbridge brought the family to safety in under 36 hours and also supported additional evacuations across the region during the crisis.
